Shine for Jesus

16 Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer. 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. 21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

2 Corinthians 5:14-21 NKJV

Don’t you just love the word of God? There is so much power in every word. We no longer judge others according to worldly standards. Those who are new in Christ have lost the old ways of doing things and the old ways of acting. We are learning to be more and more like Jesus. God doesn’t hold our sins against us. He has brought us back into relationship with Himself through Christ. Now God can work through us to plead to others to come to Him. May the word of the Lord always be on our minds, in our mouth and shown in our submitted lives.

Pray with me please.

Father God,
How wonderful You are. How good, merciful. loving, strong and how mighty You are! There is none like You in all the world. None can compare. Thank You for Your faithfulness and unending love. Thank You that You are actually using us to do Your will. We ask today that during this time that we have set aside to celebrate Thanksgiving, that You would speak through us to our families and loved ones that are gathered around all of our tables, may we never miss an opportunity to witness to them of Your great faithfulness. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
