Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens! Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness! Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp! Praise him with tambourine and dance; praise him with strings and pipe! Praise him with sounding cymbals; praise him with loud clashing cymbals!
Psalm 150:1-6 ESV
Father God,
Thank You for loving the world so much that You gave Your only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16). Indeed, You gave Your all. We worship You for You are good and worthy of all praise. Your blessings upon us are too numerous to count. Thank You for Your great love that drew Your children out of the miry depths of sin and despair. Thank You for the help and the hope that You give to us.
We ask for Your forgiveness in any area where we have failed You. Please reveal anything that is keeping us from getting closer to You so that we can confess and repent, Lord. Help us to always forgive others immediately (Mark 11:26). We do not want satan to have a foothold in our lives so please help us when we get angry to not sin (Ephesians 4:26-27).
May Your blessings be upon all Your children today. May we walk in Your power and strength, realizing that the victory is Yours and no matter what we go through that You are right there with us. Thank You!
Thank You for Your word. Help us to make time every day to read from the blessed pages of Your Holy Bible. May we sit and take time to fully grasp what You are saying to us through Your living Word.
We thank You for all that You have done, are doing, and all that You are going to do in our lives. We are so content knowing that You will guide and direct us (Proverbs 3:5 & Isaiah 48:17). Your great love is like a great big warm blanket on a cold day. Help us to listen, really listen for You to speak to us through Your word (John 6:63). In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.
John 15:7 NKJV
You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask. 3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.
James 4:2-3 NKJV
