Merry Christmas to All

¹⁰ He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness. ¹¹ You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God. ¹² For the ministry of this service is not only supplying the needs of the saints but is also overflowing in many thanksgivings to God. ¹³ By their approval of this service, they will glorify God because of your submission that comes from your confession of the gospel of Christ, and the generosity of your contribution for them and for all others, ¹⁴ while they long for you and pray for you, because of the surpassing grace of God upon you. ¹⁵ Thanks be to God for his inexpressible gift!

2 Corinthians 9:10-15 ESV

Father God,
We have been learning a lot about prayer and who to pray for along with when, where, and how to pray. Thank You for all of the wisdom that is found in Your word. Thank You for speaking to us through Your word. Thank You for the Holy Spirit who leads and guides us with the truths from Your word. Thank You for Jesus who is the Word. Thank You for His life, death, resurrection, and ascension. Thank You so much for this day, a day to honor You and thank You for the greatest gift that the world has ever known. The gift of salvation that is only known through the personal acceptance of Your Son Jesus Christ into our hearts. At the perfect time You gave the perfect Gift to all who would just believe. In Him You gave all who would believe; redemption (Ephesians 1:7), robes of righteousness (Isaiah 61:10), peace (Romans 5:1), eternal life (1 John 5:13), Spirit of adoption (Romans 8:15), encouragement (Hebrews 6:18), our soul’s anchor (Hebrews 6:19), our High Priest (Hebrews 8:1),, and a heavenly glorified body awaiting us (2 Corinthians 5:1). Today, we are thankful for the most precious gift that we ever received, Jesus Christ, our Lord. Thank You that He is our King (1 Timothy 6:15), Shepherd (Hebrews 13:20), Savior (John 3:16), Author and Finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and our Friend (John 15:15). Thank You that He is faithful and just (1 John 1:9). Thank You for Your great love in giving Your one and Only Son (John 3:16). Thank You for His life, love, and ministry. Thank You that we are made right through His blood shed at Calvary (Romans 3:22-26). Thank You that everything we need pertaining to life and godliness is found in Him (2 Peter 1:3). We thank You today for the gift of eternal life with You that You gave us the day we asked Jesus to come into our hearts. How precious is the great love You have for us. We praise You. We sing hallelujah. Thank You. May we continue to thank You all day today for Your love, wisdom, guidance, and strength. May we look at the faces of our loved ones and thank You for them also. May we ask and pray down Your blessings upon each person that You have put in our presence. Thank You for another opportunity to draw nearer to You. Bless those reading today. Please shower them with Your presence. May they fully experience You with every moment they have. May we all have a Merry Christmas and be full of Your light. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
