The Gift of Life

It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.

John 6:63 NKJV

Jesus is the Only One who can save us. His very words are life to us. By His words we first found our faith in Him.

Pray with me please.

Father God,
Thank You so much for the gift of life, new and eternal, that You have given us the day we accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior. Thank You for calling us out of the darkness. Thank You that You have given us Your Holy Spirit. Thank You for the changes that You are working in us. Thank You for Your great love. Thank You for being constant and for Your consistency. Thank You for Your strength and provision. Thank You that no matter what, You never stop loving us. Thank You for drawing us into You and into a closer relationship with You.
We love You, Lord. We are so thrilled to be Your children and to do those things which are pleasing in Your sight. Help us to shine forth Your great love and mercy to all that You have placed in our paths. May we never miss an opportunity to share with others the gospel. Help us to walk righteously. Forgive us when we fail. Draw us ever so close to Your side is our heart’s cry. May Your wisdom guide us in all of our ways. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
