Words of Life

⁶⁶ From that time many of His disciples went back and walked with Him no more. ⁶⁷ Then Jesus said to the twelve, “Do you also want to go away?”
⁶⁸ But Simon Peter answered Him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. ⁶⁹ Also we have come to believe and know that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

John 6:66-69 NKJV

Pray with me please.

Father God,
Thank You for this day and for another opportunity to come into Your blessed presence. Thank You for Your word. Thank You for our life. You are good. We praise You and thank You for loving us. Thank You for Jesus. Thank You for the life we have in Him. Thank You for Your Holy Spirit. Thank You for working in our hearts and changing us to be more like Christ. We ask for more of You and less of us. Help us to be strong in You and the knowledge that You have provided us in the blessed pages of Your word, the Holy Bible. We agree with Peter and declare that Jesus is Your Son. He alone has the words of eternal life for He is life. He is our Bread of Life. Thank You so much for giving to this world Your Son, that all who believe in Him would never perish. What comfort, joy and strength You give us. We aren’t going anywhere but straight along the narrow path with Jesus. He alone is our Light. May You receive all the glory from our submitted lives. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
