Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart

Prayer is so important. That is the time that you get to spend with the one who loves you the most. Not only does He know you, but He also created you in His image (Psalm 139 & Genesis 1:27). You are fearfully and wonderfully made by the God of the universe (Psalm 139:14). He loves you (John 3:16). I would encourage you to spend time today with the Lord. Tell Him your deepest thoughts and concerns. Share with Him the things that you cannot share with anyone else. Don’t be ashamed, He knows everything anyways. It is so wonderful to have a close relationship with our Father. May it be our heart’s desire to grow in Him and to know Him more and more through prayer and the reading of His word. May we also pray that He continue to transform us into His image (Romans 8:29 & 2 Corinthians 3:18).
Father God,
You are Lord Almighty. Your ways and thoughts are higher than ours. You know everything. You are so amazing. We ask today that You help us to understand that You are always with us. Help us to pray to You at all times. You are right here all the time. You love us and You alone can strengthen, counsel and comfort us when we need it. Thank You Lord for loving us, seeing us, hearing us and being with us. Thank You for always being there when we need You. Thank You for making us in Your image. Thank You for the gift of life. Thank You for growing in us. We ask that You continue to mold us and make us. May we all become more aware of Your presence. May we come to You without hesitation and experience firsthand Your amazing love, grace and mercy. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
