As I Have Loved You

This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.

Jesus speaking in John 15 verse 12

We are to love others as He loves us. How did He show His love? Jesus made time for others. He never said no when asked for help. He never said He was too busy, or too tired. Jesus cared for others. He humbled Himself. We are to show others the same unconditional love. What stops us? What makes it so hard to accept our (spiritual) brothers and sisters and show our love to them?
It is time to show compassion, witness to others, feed the hungry, pray for others, and give our all for His purposes. Whatever His will is for us, that is what we should pray for. We need to show His love by doing that which He has told us to do. In today’s verse we read that He wants us to love others as He has loved us. Tall order. Are we ready? We will have to let go of any fear of rejection or any kind of protective mechanism’s that we may be holding on to. Let’s release our all to God and actually do what He said. Love one another. It is what the world needs so desperately.

Update to all praying for Eli. He was up put of bed at the hospital playing hide and seek with his mom and dad. He got to go home last night. He ate and drank. My daughter said he is doing a lot better. Please continue to seek the Lord for Eli’s complete healing. I know God can do it. He is good, and He is worthy of all praise. Thank you all for praying! ❤️

Pray with me please.

Father God,
Love can do so many things. Love can soften hearts, open doors, tear down walls and release Your power. Your perfect love casts out fear. Love is our command. We love You and want to honor You in all things. Show us how to love others as You have loved. Release Your power in our lives to shine forth with Your love. We ask for Your will to come to fruition in our lives. Thank You so much for softening hearts and opening doors today. We give You all the thanks and praise for You alone are worthy. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done in all things. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

We are instructed to bear one another’s burdens, (Galatians 6:2) so if there are any prayer requests feel free to leave them in the comment section. I would be honored to pray with you. 1. You’re quite welcome. Thank you for your prayers. I really needed my brothers and sisters in the Lord yesterday, and you all showed up for me. You don’t know how much it means to me. Love you, sister. Thank you so much.

  1. The miracle we prayed for. You are so good to us Jesus, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Amen. I continue prayer for this little one. And wait for the Rapture to meet you and him. ❤

    1. Thank you, Marla. Sending love and hugs your way. God is so good to us. I am still believing God for a miracle in Eli’s brain. His mom said he was disoriented today. She said he fell head first off toilet. Said if she hadn’t been sitting there to catch him, he would have hurt himself. I appreciate you and your prayers, Marla. You are such a sweet sister. Thank you!

      1. I believe also. Matthew 8:13 Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go! Let it be done just as you believed it would.” And his servant was healed at that moment. And Matt 9: 20 Just then a woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak. 21 She said to herself, “If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed.” 22 Jesus turned and saw her. “Take heart, daughter,” he said, “your faith has healed you.” And the woman was healed at that moment.

  2. Yes, and we are not only to show this love to our brothers and sisters in Christ, but to others also, that they may glorify our Father in Heaven.

Glad to read an update about Eli here. God’s blessings.

    1. Amen. That is written about in another blog. We certainly must show His love to all others. Even those who hate us. Love is how we show Him to this world. May His love permeate and radiate throughout our entire beings. In Jesus’ name.
      Blessings!

    1. Yes, very much so. It’s still hard for my daughter to sleep as she has to keep an eye on him throughout the night. They never know when he will have these seizures. 🙏 Eli needs a miracle.
      Have a wonderful day.

    1. Yes, it is great! God is good to us. I am still believing in Him for a complete healing. He needs to be off these medicines! The one drug has a ton of bad side effects. Aggression, hallucinations and self harm being some of the worst. He hasn’t tried to harm himself. He is only 5, but he has had the others. Just so sad. I know I have the mustard seed sized faith! All in God’s perfect timing. I just have to wait. That is what is hard. Especially when it is a loved one. Anyway, thanks again for praying for Eli!
God’s blessings be upon you today and always.
