There was No Other Way

And He said, “Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will.”

Father God,
Thank You so much for the love that poured out for us on the cross. There is no greater love than that which You have shown. Thank You for giving Your Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish (John 3:16). What a price You paid to restore mankind to Your side. Your love goes beyond our comprehension. It is so hard to even imagine. Your love is extreme, deep and all encompassing. Your love is more than enough. Our sin separated us from You, but Your love bridged that sin gap for all who would believe in Jesus. Help us to always pray that Your will, not ours, be done in any and all situations in our lives, even the hard ones. We ask for Your Holy Spirit to give us strength to do that which You would have us to do. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
