Together let's focus on learning from our Father at His feet, as His dear children.
I say that we need to do the same with the word of God! Memorize, internalize, verbalize, and actualize the word. We need to know, that we know, that we know the Holy Word of God. Then when and if any counterfeits; false religions, or false religious teachers come along, we will be able to spot the not.
Paul prayed for the Ephesians, asking God to give spiritual wisdom and insight. For the purpose growing in their knowledge of God.
How will we know what the Bible says if we do not read it? That is how so many get lost, they believe without knowing what it is they believe or even why they believe it. We can and must do better than that. God is there waiting for us with arms open wide, saying, “Come.”
The name of Jesus. The redemption of all mankind who believes. The Hope for all generations. The Light of the world. His name is Jesus. We speak the name of Jesus and chains are broken, people are healed.
It means whatever you have learned and know to be true of God so far in your walk with Him, hold on to it! Do not let go of what you know to be true by the word of God. I don’t care what the world says is okay. God’s way is different than the world’s way.
Open our eyes, ears and hearts to those that may be hurting around us and let us be Your ministers to them. People are hurting right now and this Coronavirus pandemic could be the very platform that You use to speak to the world about Your great love. I know, for a fact, that You can take a mess and make it a message because You have done it in my life. I once was lost and now I am found.
The world is looking for something, some answer or reason. Let’s give them that hope by telling everyone we know, or can, about Jesus. (1 Peter 3:15) We can and should use this ugly Coronavirus, as a platform, to share the good news of the gospel. Reach as many as we can, because indeed, the time is short.
We are to show His love more and more to everyone. He has given us this wonderful job of bringing people back to Him. We are His ambassadors and we are to plead with others “Come back to God!”
There may be times that we make mistakes, we are not perfect, but we are to strive (try really hard) to be perfect. That means when we make a mistake or see an error on our part, take it to God immediately. Ask for forgiveness and the strength to never do it again. He will give us the strength. Then we get back up and try again. We don’t give up!
No words, just a cry out to the Lord. Listen and cry out with me.
