So many times we try to tackle our feelings on our own. We either bury our feelings, refuse to acknowledge them or lie to ourselves that problems do not even exist. Listen, God made us to love and grieve.
I love the honestly behind this psalm. I love how candidly David talked with You. He didn’t hold anything back. He knew You as His friend, Confidant, Judge and Protector. He kept things real.
Oh, children of the most high God, I feel such a strong leading from the Lord for His children to praise Him today. Bring that sacrifice, no matter what you are going through, magnify His name with me. (Hebrews 13:15) He is holy.
Help us to understand our position as Christ followers and to love in truth, word and deed. Let us shine so bright for Your kingdom. Father, help us to realize who we are in You. May our lives reflect the truth of Your word and who we are called to be.
We bow before You Lord God, our Messiah, Savior, and Holy One. You are King of kings and Lord of lords. There is nothing that You cannot do. You created it all and still You long to have a relationship with Your children. Thank You for Your great love.
Bickering should be nonexistent among believers. (Matthew 5:22, Colossians 3:7-9 & 2 Timothy 2:23-24) There is no time for such foolishness. The end is nearer now than it was yesterday. (1 Peter 4:7)
You are truth. Help us to love our enemies and bless them. Help us to love one another and to show that love in our support of each other, that we would build one another up and not try to tear each other down. I pray that divisions would cease and that brotherly love would abound. Open our eyes to love as You have loved. Let everything we do or say be in the perfect center of Your will for our lives.
