The Joy That Awaits

Romans 8:18 NKJV For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. We may have to suffer in this life, but they cannot compare to the joy and happiness that awaits us in heaven. Right now we have enemies, pains, pressuresContinue reading “The Joy That Awaits”

Walls or Wells

Emotional walls, when built by us, are usually meant for self-preservation. When others hurt us, we immediately start putting up a wall. We might say or think something like, ” Well, I won’t let them or anyone else hurt me like that again.” Before we know it, we have quite a fortress surrounding our heart,Continue reading “Walls or Wells”

God Is With Us

Father, we know that You delight in loyalty over sacrifices (Hosea 6:6). Thank You for creating in us a hunger and desire to know You more and to grow in Your grace and righteousness (Matthew 5:6). On our own we can do nothing (John 15:5), but through You we can do all things (Philippians 4:13).

Do Not Grieve the Holy Spirit

Now that we see what grieves the Holy Spirit, let us make up our minds to not do anything that would grieve Him. We are sealed with the Holy Spirit after listening and believing the gospel.
