Vision

Proverbs 29:18 KJV Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. Trusting in the Lord equals safety. He is our Provider, Strength, Miracle Worker and Way Maker to name a few. We do not have to fear when He is the captain of our personal ship.

The Lord is My Shield

Magen the Hebrew name for God meaning, the Lord Is My Shield. Pronouncing The Name: ma-GAIN The Bible tells us that God is our shield. We may be unable to see all that He is protecting us from, but be assured that He is protecting us. He is always at work. He shows His love

The Third Woe of Jesus and Truth of His Word

While hanging on the cross, Jesus cried, “Father forgive them for they know not what they do!” (Luke 23:34) May His mind be in us, (Philippians 2:5), that we could and would forgive those who have wronged us. Also Lord, I pray, that we would do it immediately, without them even having to say they are sorry. Jesus didn’t wait for an apology and neither should we, who are in Christ.

Healing for All

Look closely at the scripture, there is a but there. Verse 25 starts with, But when you are praying, first forgive anyone that you have a grudge against. Before we can expect any kind of healing, we have to forgive!

Jesus is Our Hope

There is nothing more comforting than reading the word of God. In His word we find hope, strength, encouragement, light, direction, security and life. In His word we find Him.

Even When

Whatever else we may have trusted in has the capability to fail…money, banks, government, laws, politicians. Any of it can fail Lord, but You will never fail. Your words will never fail. What You have spoken will happen. Your word will not come back to You void without accomplishing what You set it out to accomplish.

Set Us Free

We can honor God in the same way. Our alarms can be set for 10 minutes ahead of our regular time to wake. We have to start somewhere. Trust me, when you start making God your priority by putting Him first, everything else will just fall into place. He will work for your good. His love is unfailing and His mercy is new every morning.

Unfailing Love

Open our eyes so that we may see the beauty in Your word. You have everything we need in this life written down in Your holy word. May we bring honor to You as You grant us wisdom in and from Your word.
