God is Our Shield

I love the honestly behind this psalm. I love how candidly David talked with You. He didn’t hold anything back. He knew You as His friend, Confidant, Judge and Protector. He kept things real.

God Is With Us

Father, we know that You delight in loyalty over sacrifices (Hosea 6:6). Thank You for creating in us a hunger and desire to know You more and to grow in Your grace and righteousness (Matthew 5:6). On our own we can do nothing (John 15:5), but through You we can do all things (Philippians 4:13).

Hope

Give me the sense to follow Your commands! I mean it is so true. We know better but how often do we get off course and do things our own way and not the way that the Lord has shown us? God’s word is fair. His love is unfailing. He is merciful.

Consume Me

Let my praise flood the room and ascend to Your heart, Lord. May it touch You and You be pleased with me.    With all I have inside me I praise You Lord. Thank You for being the God of the universe. The God who loves me. The God who inhabits the praise of His people
