Treasures in Heaven

Luke 18:19-23 NKJV So Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. 20 You know the commandments: ‘Do not commit adultery,’ ‘Do not murder,’ ‘Do not steal,’ ‘Do not bear false witness,’ ‘Honor your father and your mother.’ ” 21 And he said, “All these things I have kept from my youth.” 22 So when Jesus heard theseContinue reading “Treasures in Heaven”

Revelation 14

The Lamb and the 144,000 14 Then I looked, and behold, a Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His Father’s name written on their foreheads. 2 And I heard a voice from heaven, like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of loud thunder. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?” God willContinue reading “Always Be Ready”

God Is With Us

Father, we know that You delight in loyalty over sacrifices (Hosea 6:6). Thank You for creating in us a hunger and desire to know You more and to grow in Your grace and righteousness (Matthew 5:6). On our own we can do nothing (John 15:5), but through You we can do all things (Philippians 4:13).

The Eighth Woe of Jesus and the Truth of His Word

Salt is a preserver. We are the salt of the earth. The moral compass of the world. We are the ones trying to do the right things for the right reasons. But, and If, we lose that desire, how will the world see how they are supposed to act in matters of justice, love and mercy?

Broken, Yet Rising Above

The next time we are offended, say Father forgive them for they don’t know what they are doing. Then ask Him to help us not to be hurt, to lay it at His feet and leave it there. Quit watering the root of bitterness and let The Great Gardener remove any root of bitterness we may have buried in our heart.
