The Book of Revelation

For the next three weeks we will be devoting ourselves to a time for going through the 22 chapters in the book of Revelation. It will be set up as a chapter a day, with a prayer and a song selection. In no way do I think myself qualified to teach this book, but IContinue reading “The Book of Revelation”

Fading

Isaiah 40:8 NKJV The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever. A friend of mine, named Angie, painted that scripture for me on the beautiful painting that she did which is at the top of this blog. She is so talented. This verse brings me comfort to know that weContinue reading “Fading”

Keep Our Eyes Fixed On Jesus

Fix our eyes on Him and pray (Hebrews 12:2). The time to pray is now, Seek the Lord as you have never sought Him before. Watch the joy and glory of His presence erase the doom and gloom, despair and negativity in your life.

Lesson Learned?

Help us Lord, that our eyes would be open to the truths contained in Your word. Your word is powerful. We praise You and thank You for Your blessed and Holy Word. You have formed everything into existence with Your word. You have given us everything that we need in Your word.

Shelter

Oh, to be overfilled with Your Holy Spirit, that we would be able to minister to those around us. One word from You could do more than a thousand of our own. Please Lord continue Your work in us. Until the day we meet You face to face, just like the hymn, what a day, glorious day that will be!

Seventh of the Ten Commandments

Are we willing to deny ourselves, pick up our cross and follow Him? (Matthew 16:24) It is more than just words. It is a heart-felt lifestyle in which we honor God by obeying Him and putting His word, will and way first in our lives. We have made Him Lord of our hearts, so now let’s let Him rule.

Fourth of the 10 Commandments

Reset our minds and hearts to be, say and do the things that we know is right according to Your word. Please remove any blindfolds that satan (purposefully not capitalized) has over our eyes on this the Fourth Commandment. Help us to honor You with all of our life.

The Ten Commandments

The Bible is our roadmap. We need to know what the map says and where we are to go. To follow is to be blessed. The Ten Commandments of the Old Testament were still taught in the New Testament and are still much needed as a moral compass for today. God said if we follow His commands that we will be blessed in our going, coming and our children will be blessed. (Deuteronomy 28:1-14) It is time to get our priorities in order
