My Desire

Matthew 25:21 NKJV His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.’

If it is your desire to know God more please pray along with me the following:

Oh most holy heavenly Father,

It is my desire to know You more, walk in a way that is fully acceptable and pleasing in Your eyes,  be the person You created me to be, experience Your love and power operating in and through me and to know the beauty of Your holiness.

Teach me, Lord, to be Your servant in word and deed (Colossians 3:17). Help me to love the unlovable (Matthew 5:44). Lord, I pray for a guard around my mouth that I would not sin against You (Psalm 141:3). I pray for Your direction in my life. Lord, I am reaching my hand up and out to You.

I claim that You are my God (Psalm 31:14),  I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Philippians 4:13), You have worked in my past and You will continue the good work in which You have started in me (Philippians 1:6).

I believe that You have all the power, all the wisdom and all the might. I believe that there is nothing that You cannot do. You have formed the whole earth.

 You have moved mountains and turned my sorrow into dancing. You have restored me, enlightened me and empowered me for the journey. I am complete in You. I lack no good thing. You have provided me with all my needs and then some. You are faithful and true. Your word brings correction,  wisdom, guidance and light. You are amazing, full of light and love. You want nothing but good things for Your children (Matthew 7:11). You are love (1 John 4:8).

Thank You, Lord, for living in me. Thank You for your precious word. Thank You for guiding and directing me. Thank You for Your Holy Spirit. Thank You Jesus for Your ultimate sacrifice on the cross, which was not just for me and my sins but for the sins of mankind as a whole. Thank You that we don’t have to be perfect or blameless to come to You.

 We come to You bruised, beat-up and bleeding and You clean us up. You are more than good, more than powerful, more than amazing, more than awesome…Lord You are so much more. You are perfect. So many people have tried to grasp the wonder with which You are with words. Mere words fail us Lord, for the magnitude of the greatness with which You are.

I praise You Lord in the beauty of Your wondrous love. I praise You my magnificent Creator for all I am, all that You created me to be. I praise You in the glory of Your holiness.

I shout You are my God, the Only true God and I love You Lord with all of my heart. You are my life, my love, my guiding force. You move mountains for me. You love to display Your great love to Your children.

How holy, righteous and beautiful You are. You gave Your all on the cross (John 3:16). You have redeemed and restored me. I am Your child fully loved and accepted by the Father! The Great I Am lives in me!

Lord, let me walk in the way that pleases You. Father, bring joy and peace to all those around me because of the fullness of You living in me.

I declare Your love today. I declare Your love is higher, greater and more wonderful than we can even imagine. Greater are You who lives in me than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

Let Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10). Be glorified Lord. Let Your light shine through me. I love You.
