Abortion is Not The Answer

Let me start by saying that all life is a gift from God. He is the one who breathes life into man (Genesis 2:7, Job 33:4). Life begins at the moment of conception. I am not here to judge (Matthew 7:1) or condemn anyone, rather I would like to point you to scripture to validate my point, that babies have the right to be protected, especially while in their mothers womb.

Psalm 139:13-17 NLT You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body  and knit me together in my mother’s womb. 14 Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex!   Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it. 15 You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion,   as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. 16 You saw me before I was born.  Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out  before a single day had passed. 17 How precious are your thoughts about me, O God.  They cannot be numbered!

The soul that a woman is carrying in her stomach is a gift from God. The child in the mother’s womb is created by God Himself, in His image.  The Bible says in this passage that every moment of every day was recorded in God’s book, every moment before they even came to be. God has precious thoughts for us. He has plans for a future, hope and to prosper us. (Jeremiah 29:11) Since God has these precious thoughts for us, who are we to decide to end the gift of life that He placed within us?

Isaiah 14:27 NLT The LORD of Heaven’s Armies has spoken— who can change his plans? When his hand is raised, who can stop him?

The Lord has formed us while we were in our mothers womb. He has great plans for us. Who are we then to take that life away from one of the most voiceless?

Look at a dog for heavens sake. How would you feel if the dog was pregnant and someone just decided, for no good reason, that she should not give birth. Then the owner just takes it to the vet and has the unborn puppies killed.  Keeping that in mind, isn’t human life to be more valuable to us? I mean it is heartbreaking to think of killing any living creature, puppies, birds, kittens, basically any kind of animal. How much more should we be concerned over the sanctity of a human life? The very precious life that God created and has planned out.  Are we not trying to make ourselves better, more knowledgeable than God, by deciding that the very life He gave us is to be terminated? Wow, those are huge shoes to fill.

Why do you think there are so many support groups for mothers who have aborted their babies? Why do you think they are hurting, grieving and emotionally scarred? It is because life is sacred to God. Listen, don’t believe the world any longer. Look to the word of God for your answers! Don’t fall into the trap and lies of this world. I believe that the world has glamorized the terminology associated with this very sadness. Abortion in my eyes is murder. They take a living person that God created out of the mothers protective womb and murder it. They call a baby a fetus. Anything to keep people in the dark. Why not tell them about how bad they would hurt if they did such a thing?

Listen, if you have had an abortion, God will forgive you if you are truly repentant. He alone can help you get through the grieving process. Give your heart to Him today and He can make your mess a message, just like He made my mess a message. God is good. If you do not know God please read my blog titled Never Let Us Go.

You Never Let Us Go

God has a plan and a purpose for all of us. Don’t be deceived by the lies of the enemy any longer. Trust God and find out what His plan is for your life.

Philippians 4:19 NLT And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.

Dearest most holy and loving, truly tender and compassionate, all knowing and awesomely amazing Father,

We come to You today broken people. Some of us are hurt and scarred. We need You, Lord. We come carrying heavy burdens.  We need Your grace to help us in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16).

Father, we are all just sinners saved by grace, Your grace (Ephesians 2:8). We are not better or worse than any one else. You have created us equal (Galatians 3:28). We are Your creation, fashioned by Your loving hands.

Help us to understand the truth about abortion. May we see that every baby placed in a woman’s uterus is a gift from You. This is a human being, a life! Help us to protect this little life who has no voice of its own yet. Indeed, Lord, my heart grieves over these innocent lives being taken so wrongfully.

I pray that the blinders would come off of, not just  American people, Lord, but people around the globe. Oh, that men and women would have an eye-opening moment, and know that abortion is murder. This terrible sin doesn’t just affect women, but men as well. Men who feel they have no say in this. Men who have been lied to and cheated out of their own flesh and blood being born. I pray you would comfort all of those who mourn. Lord, please, use this blog in a mighty way to open peoples eyes to Your truth. Lord, let us love everyone especially those little unborn babies. They need our protection. In Jesus’ name we pray.

We are instructed to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), so if there are any prayer requests feel free to leave them in the comment section. I would be honored to pray with you. If it is more private you can always contact me via email at luckd61@yahoo.com I check that every day. Blessings to you all, till we meet again, tomorrow, if the Lord is willing. Peace.

    1. Those are horrible realities in a fallen world filled with sin. God alone is the judge. We have to stand before Him one day and answer for everything we have done while we were in this body. As horrible as rape and incest are, we still have no right to murder. I believe right is right and wrong is wrong. Two wrongs never make a right. God bless you Jan. Thanks for reading and for commenting. We just need to hold these ladies up in prayer that the Lord’s will would be done.

      1. I know we are not the Judge… but here’s my judgmental statement: Yes, but I would not want to be the person who had to carry for 9 months the child whose origin was SUCH a sinful act from such a despicable person.

      2. I wouldn’t want to be either, but I would if it happened to me. We have to follow the Bible. There is no clause saying it is okay to murder if….. We have to trust the infallible word of God. Let every man work out his or her own salvation with fear and trembling. ♡

  1. I think this is such a delicate subject. A woman’s mind and body is such a tender thing.
But something not often addressed is the redeeming love of God in the face of crime, abuse-sin.
God can bring beautiful children out of crime, abuse and pain…
And for the mother to see that she was able to give life and love to a family through adoption can ease the pain from the abuse she endured.
So many childless couples have redeemed the lives of children born out of crime and pain.
Abuse and violence doesn’t have to be met with more violence… when met with the love of God, Healing can take place.
    God is Love
    God is Grace
    God’s forgiveness is complete.

  2. I was just about to comment, but Kathy has said what I wanted to say. Rape and incest are certainly distressing circumstances, but I was going to say what Kathy has said about God taking care of it. “Thou shalt not kill”, the scriptures say. That’s why I’m, not only against abortion, but the death penalty too. I can’t understand how some Christians can abhor one, yet support the other.
You’re brave to tackle this, Donna, but it is the truth. x

    1. Doesn’t Kathy speak so beautifully? She has an extremely wonderful heart and it is my great privilege to call her friend. We try to meet every Thursday for prayer. She is such a valiant prayer warrior.
The reason I posted this was to show women the truth from the word of God. I feel they have been lied to from the world long enough. I just want to help. That is why it was written, so that I can give women a link to it and let them decide for their selves.
Thanks for your encouraging words. I appreciate you. God bless. Air hugs ♡

    1. It has been a heavy burden on the hearts of our Tuesday Women’s prayer group ladies. We have wept for this terrible injustice. Abortion Was the Leading Cause of Death Worldwide in 2019, Killing 42 Million People. From lifenews.com It is very sad, very sad indeed. Scarcely can we imagine what 42 thousand people look like, but here it said 42 million. That is just totally unacceptable. Something must be done to open peoples eyes. God bless you and thanks for your comment.

  3. The scripture does say, “thou shall not kill” but it also says,”love covers a multitude of sin–
same book same author. It easy to say that a person shouldn’t abort their baby due to horrific violations of one’s own body such as rape or incest “until” it happens to YOU. Unless you’re in that situation you don’t know what you would do. We say don’t abort the baby because it’s murder, but what about the people we’ve murdered with our mouth? When we’ve assassinate people’s character? Or, what about the times we’ve negatively alter people’s lives with what we’ve said?

    1. I posted in my blog that, yes, people can be forgiven, if they have a truly repentant heart. That is true for people who murder with their mouth, assassinate peoples character and to those who alter others lives with what they have said as well. Forgiveness is available through our great and merciful Lord.
Just like I know I wouldn’t shoot someone if they shot me, I know I wouldn’t murder even if rape or incest happened to me. I see you have a very strong opinion. It is my opinion to get the word of God into more ladies hands so they can make a well informed decision based on the truth contained therein. God bless you. Thanks for stopping by to comment. Have a nice day.

      1. If have followed my blog any length of time then you know that I put a strong emphasis on applying scripture in its proper context, not in one’s own subjectivity. I see you are passionate about the subject about abortion, what is your stance on Black Lives Matter? People who have such a strong passion about telling a woman what she do with her body, is that same passion present when people of color are being murder unjustly by the police? Thank you for allowing me to comment.

  4. All lives matter to the Lord. He said in His word that there is no difference between Jew and Gentile–the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Why did this become a topic of race? I outlined in God’s word why abortion is wrong. The Lord is coming soon to get his bride, the church, and we need to be cleaned up and ready. The world has kept the eyes of all women blinded to the truth.
I am sorry if you feel offended or hurt somehow by any of my words. There is one thing I will not apologize for and that is the word of God. Now, I must adhere to 2 Timothy 2:22-26 and pursue peace. I cannot be involved in arguments that only start fights. We are on this earth to love and to point others to Christ, before the day of His great appearance. I wrote this blog to help women who have not known the word of God. I have wept many tears for the lives of those lost in abortion. It grieves my heart, as does senseless violence and anything that takes the focus off of God’s love and His Second coming. As much as possible, we are to live at peace with everyone. (Romans 12:18) I wish you pure, peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere wisdom, Kim, from the Father as found in the book of James chapter 3 verse 17. Remember also James 3:18 Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.
On a completely different note, has anyone told you lately that you are a beautiful lady? I love your profile picture. Here, accept this hug from me ((((((((Kim))))))))) God bless you and draw you ever so near to His side, where there is true peace, joy, love and comfort.
I am always here if you ever need to talk. I just do not wish to argue. 🙂 Peace.
