Be Obedient

In this chapter Paul was telling king Agrippa what Jesus told him that He wanted him to do.

Acts 26:18-20 KJV To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.19 Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision:20 But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.

We are called to tell others what God has done for us. Tell them who He is (Matthew 28:19-20). Show others who God is by our dedicated and reformed lives. There should be a difference in us once we get saved, that others would know and see.

Father God,

Today we pray with the above scripture that You would use us to open blinded eyes and turn people from darkness to light, and use us to turn others from the power of satan unto You. May our lights shine so brightly that others would be drawn in by the beauty they see in our surrendered lives. May we be bold when needed so that people will be rescued from the grips of hell. Oh, that many would repent and turn to You! May good works be evident in all of Your children’s lives. We love You and praise You. We want only to bring You joy. Praying always and only in Jesus’ name. Amen.
