Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow me. 25 If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it. 26 And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul? 27 For the Son of Man will come with his angels in the glory of his Father and will judge all people according to their deeds.
Jesus-Matthew 16:24-27 NLT
In our growth with the Lord, we can clearly see that Jesus wants all of our heart. What now should matter to us, as Christians, isn’t what we want but rather what God wants. In every situation at every time may it be our prayer that His kingdom come and His will be done. He knows best and it is such a good feeling to know that we can trust Him in all things.
Father God,
Thank You for this day and with it another opportunity to come before Your throne. We are so thankful for Your great love. Thank You for drawing us even closer to You. May Your word sink deep into our hearts and minds changing us for Your glory. Let everything that we think, do and say line up with Your word and what Your will is for our lives. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

If you do not know Jesus but would like to know more about Him, including how you can be saved, please read the following blog titled, You Never Let Us Go. God bless. https://thefathersfeet.wordpress.com/2020/01/07/you-never-let-us-go/
Good morning, {{{Donna}}}. I send hugs and acknowledge with you the fact that “He knows best and it is such a good feeling to know that we can trust Him in all things.” So, I turn today’s events over to him as we head in to Bozeman for my follow-up appointment with the orthopedist.

Sadly, some people do not count the cost to follow Jesus and return to the world like Demas.

May we always seek to walk closer to the Lord. It is hard to deny ourselves sometimes but is always worth it. The flesh wants to be fed sometimes but thank God for the strength to deny it and say what God wants us to instead of what the flesh may want. I will forever say, God is so good!
Hugs sister.
