And they will go there, and they will take away all its detestable things and all its abominations from there. 19 Then I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them, and take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh, 20 that they may walk in My statutes and keep My judgments and do them; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God. 21 But as for those whose hearts follow the desire for their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their deeds on their own heads,” says the Lord God.
Ezekiel 11:18-21 NKJV
If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature (2 Corinthians 5:17). God alone can make our hearts tender. It is His gift through Christ. Christians are brought from death to life because of the blood Jesus shed on the cross and our belief in Him. May He continue working in our hearts softening us and enabling us to live for Him till the day that we pass from this life to our new home in eternity with Him.
Father God,
Thank You so much for saving us with and through the precious blood of Your Son Jesus. What love You have shown mankind (John 3:16). There is nothing that we had to merit on our own. In fact, there is no way that we could ever earn Your salvation. That is a free gift of Yours (Romans 5:15). Thank You so much for supplying our every need. Our greatest need was right standing in Your sight. We thank You for Your great love. Help us to walk in the newness of life that we have received the day we trusted Jesus to be our Lord and Savior. In whose name we pray. Amen.
