Ezekiel 22:23-31 NLT
23 Again a message came to me from the Lord: 24 “Son of man, give the people of Israel this message: In the day of my indignation, you will be like a polluted land, a land without rain. 25 Your princes plot conspiracies just as lions stalk their prey. They devour innocent people, seizing treasures and extorting wealth. They make many widows in the land. 26 Your priests have violated my instructions and defiled my holy things. They make no distinction between what is holy and what is not. And they do not teach my people the difference between what is ceremonially clean and unclean. They disregard my Sabbath days so that I am dishonored among them. 27 Your leaders are like wolves who tear apart their victims. They actually destroy people’s lives for money! 28 And your prophets cover up for them by announcing false visions and making lying predictions. They say, ‘My message is from the Sovereign Lord,’ when the Lord hasn’t spoken a single word to them. 29 Even common people oppress the poor, rob the needy, and deprive foreigners of justice.
30 “I looked for someone who might rebuild the wall of righteousness that guards the land. I searched for someone to stand in the gap in the wall so I wouldn’t have to destroy the land, but I found no one. 31 So now I will pour out my fury on them, consuming them with the fire of my anger. I will heap on their heads the full penalty for all their sins. I, the Sovereign Lord, have spoken!”
No history is without value if people learn something from it. Let us learn from the word of God. The Lord is warning us to know that there are false prophets in the world that would deceive (if possible) the very elect (Matthew 24:24). These are dark days. The anti-Christ wants to rise in power. He wants to build a one-world religion that would glorify him. If we continue to allow ourselves to be blinded to the truth, it is going to be so easy for satan to trick and deceive us in many other areas.
We are to love all sinners, because we are to be like Jesus (1 John 2:6). He loved us while we were yet sinners (Romans 5:8). That is a fact. What we are not to do, is to allow, the people who are practicing a known sin, to operate in the church of the most high God.
Matthew 7:18-20 tells us how to know good verses bad fruit. We will know them by their fruits.
Ephesians 5:11 says not only, to not participate in the darkness but expose them!
Look at what happened to Sodom and Gomorrah! To read the account click the following link. There is punishment for sin.
Look at what Jesus did when they were buying and selling in His Father’s house!
John 2 13-16 NLT
13 It was nearly time for the Jewish Passover celebration, so Jesus went to Jerusalem. 14 In the Temple area he saw merchants selling cattle, sheep, and doves for sacrifices; he also saw dealers at tables exchanging foreign money. 15 Jesus made a whip from some ropes and chased them all out of the Temple. He drove out the sheep and cattle, scattered the money changers’ coins over the floor, and turned over their tables. 16 Then, going over to the people who sold doves, he told them, “Get these things out of here. Stop turning my Father’s house into a marketplace!”
God says His people perish for a lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6). We have to choose. Either we are following the Lord, to the Kingdom of Heaven, and we are going the straight and narrow way, or we are following the world (Earthly kingdom) and going the broad way that leads to destruction (Matthew 7:13). We cannot be silent and look the other way anymore.
Ezekiel 3:18-21 NLT
18 If I warn the wicked, saying, ‘You are under the penalty of death,’ but you fail to deliver the warning, they will die in their sins. And I will hold you responsible for their deaths. 19 If you warn them and they refuse to repent and keep on sinning, they will die in their sins. But you will have saved yourself because you obeyed me.
20 “If righteous people turn away from their righteous behavior and ignore the obstacles I put in their way, they will die. And if you do not warn them, they will die in their sins. None of their righteous acts will be remembered, and I will hold you responsible for their deaths. 21 But if you warn righteous people not to sin and they listen to you and do not sin, they will live, and you will have saved yourself, too.”
Dearest Heavenly Father,
You are so good to give us solid ground to walk on. The food of Your will and way. You give us spiritual manna to feed our souls. You have opened our eyes with the truth of Your word. We are humbled, Lord, in Your presence. It is our desire to walk on the truth of Your word. Lord, we thank You for Your word and for pointing out anything, in our hearts or minds, that we have allowed as false teaching. Help us to hold tight to what we have learned. Your word is our truth. We will not accept any other teaching that does not align with Your word. Help us to walk ever so close to You. Keep us on the straight and narrow path. Oh Father, we so want to hear You say, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant, enter into the joy of your Lord.” Praise Your holy name forever. It is in Jesus’ name that we pray. Amen.
We are instructed to bear one another’s burdens, (Galatians 6:2) so if there are any prayer requests feel free to leave them in the comment section. I would be honored to pray with you. If it is more private you can always contact me via email at email@example.com I check that every day. Blessings to you all, till we meet again, tomorrow, if the Lord is willing. Peace.
