Matthew 25:31-46 NASB
The Judgment
31 “But when the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on His glorious throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered before Him; and He will separate them from one another, as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats; 33 and He will put the sheep on His right, and the goats on the left.
34 “Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. 35 For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; 36 naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.’ 37 Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink? 38 And when did we see You a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? 39 When did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ 40 The King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.’
41 “Then He will also say to those on His left, ‘Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels; 42 for I was hungry, and you gave Me nothing to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me nothing to drink; 43 I was a stranger, and you did not invite Me in; naked, and you did not clothe Me; sick, and in prison, and you did not visit Me.’ 44 Then they themselves also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not take care of You?’ 45 Then He will answer them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ 46 These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
What are we doing for Jesus? There are many opportunities to do good. We need to pray first and foremost that the Lord would have His will and way in our lives. Ask Him what He wants us to do with our time and talents.
Check with your local homeless shelter, battered women’s shelter, orphanages, jails or elderly care places and see if there is anything you can do. Maybe you can volunteer your time, materials or give monetarily. I just gave a bike to my city’s battered women’s shelter and asked what else they needed. They said women’s and children’s summer clothing and cleaning items. This might be different at your local place. Always call and ask first.
I like to help the battered women’s shelter as I was a victim of spousal abuse. I know firsthand what it feels like to be at a shelter in the middle of the night with no one or nothing of your own. It is sad and terrifying. You feel hurt, alone and abandoned. Your whole future is uncertain. You have been beaten and lied to and you are petrified. You are afraid of everything and everyone. You do not know who to trust. You don’t know where you are going to work and how you will be able to take care of your children on a one person income. Your everything (food, clothing & home) has been taken away from you and you have barely escaped with your life and the life’s of your children. You have no family and only a high school education. This was my life, so I can relate to the victims of abuse. Please, open your hearts to those hurting in your neighborhood. You do not have to know them personally to help. You know me and I am telling you, whatever you can do would be a blessing.
House of Grace is an orphanage that I recommend giving to. It was started by a young man in our church who actually came from Haiti as a child. He has a remarkable story and wants to help them as he knows what it means to actually eat mud to be full instead of being hungry. His name is Wilky Clark and he is the president of House of Grace. Check out their website if you want more information. Under the about us section there is a subtitle that says meet the boys, click there to see some really adorable faces that need help. You can sponsor a child monthly, or you can give a one-time gift of any amount. There is also a section to shop and you could purchase a T-shirt or a hoodie with House of Grace on them. Please check them out with the following link to their wonderful organization.

Lord God, Jehovah-Jireh,
Please let me, one of Your sheep, be always on ” Your right side” with every thought, word and action, may I be pleasing in Your sight (Psalm 19:14). Our time on this earth is but a vapor (James 4:14), may we make the most of every moment. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Galatians 6:10 KJV As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

Yes yes Amen sister.
I surely believe in sharing the love of Christ.
Too much sometimes, I give so much of myself I get tired in my soul. Teary eyed saying that but I know somehow it is for the good it will work out for my good, even when my heart doesn’t know it.
