Seventh set of notes from Derek Prince and his sermon Final Judgement Divided into eight blogs. Some people just like to read and I have found his sermons very helpful in my Christian walk.
Matthew 12:26,28 NKJV If Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand?
But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you.
There are two invisible spiritual kingdoms. Jesus and His servants represent the Kingdom of God. Satan and his demons and followers represent the kingdom of satan. They clash upon the driving out of demons. Jesus and His servants are of course more powerful than the kingdom of satan.
Ephesians 6:12 TLB For we are not fighting against people made of flesh and blood, but against persons without bodies—the evil rulers of the unseen world, those mighty satanic beings and great evil princes of darkness who rule this world; and against huge numbers of wicked spirits in the spirit world.
We are dealing with persons. They are persons without bodies, spirit beings. Satan’s kingdom is highly organized, for which he gets no credit. He was one of the chief angels (Ezekiel 28:14). He took some of the angels with him and is using his kingdom against the Kingdom of God. Make no mistake satan is very powerful and he is also a very evil being. Satan wants to dominate the entire world with his system of darkness.
Isaiah 14:12-17 TLB How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground—mighty though you were against the nations of the world. 13 For you said to yourself, “I will ascend to heaven and rule the angels. I will take the highest throne. I will preside on the Mount of Assembly far away in the north.* 14 I will climb to the highest heavens and be like the Most High.” 15 But instead, you will be brought down to the pit of hell, down to its lowest depths. 16 Everyone there will stare at you and ask, “Can this be the one who shook the earth and the kingdoms of the world? 17 Can this be the one who destroyed the world and made it into a shambles, who demolished its greatest cities and had no mercy on his prisoners?”
Satan’s ambition was to elevate himself to be higher than God. He got one third of the angels to follow him. It comes as no surprise that he wants to take as many people with him to hell as he can. The Bible says he is out to kill, steal and destroy (John 10:10). He uses whatever vices and whomever he can to accomplish his mission. That’s why it is extremely important to guard ourselves with the word of God. Watch what kind of music you listen to, television shows you watch or even which ministers you put yourself under. God does not contradict His word. That is a great indicator as to whether or not you may be under false teaching.
Some fruit of the satanic kingdom that will be judged by God are pride, rebellion, tale-bearing, manipulation, scheming, plotting, being filled with violence, spells, incantations, lies, unbelief, envy, addiction, anger, murder, arrogance, greed, uncaring, hatred and anything else that is evil. See Revelation 21:8, 22:15, Proverbs 6:16-19, 17:15 & Romans 2:5
The fruit of the Spirit of God is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).
We thank You today for the life that You have given us. We praise and exalt You as God over all. Yours is the kingdom, Yours is the power, Yours is the glory forever. There is nothing that You cannot do. Today we ask that Your Holy Spirit would produce the fruit of love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23) in our lives. May we be doers and not just hearers of Your word (James 1:22). One day You will judge the world and Your judgment is righteous and true. Help us to guard our hearts (Proverbs 4:23). Let us always be aware of the kind of things that we allow into our minds. May we hunger and thirst for Your word and live our lives fully committed to doing Your will. Help us to see and apply the truth, as supplied, in Your holy word. We love You and long for the day that You call us home. Oh, to be in Your presence! What a day that will be! In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
