24 Therefore God gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their own bodies among themselves. 25 They turned the truth of God into a lie and worshipped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
Romans 1:24-32 MEV
26 For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. Their women exchanged the natural function for what is against nature. 27 Likewise the men, leaving the natural function of the woman, burned in their lust toward one another, men with men doing that which is shameful, and receiving in themselves the due penalty of their error.
28 And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not proper. 29 They were filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, proud, boastful, inventors of evil things, and disobedient toward parents, 31 without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, calloused, and unmerciful, 32 who know the righteous requirement of God, that those who commit such things are worthy of death. They not only do them, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them.
Look closely at verses 24, 26 and 28. God gave them up to and God gave them over to are the powerful words that stood out to me as I was reading. We have to understand that there are consequences for our actions as humans. God is sinless (1 John 3:5). Have we failed Him by following, allowing or conforming to the lies of the world? I look around and I see that some have. If people wallow in their sin, be sure that God will take away His hand of protection. God will remove Himself from the picture. Look at Matthew 7 verses 21-23. Jesus predicted that many would prophesy, cast out demons and perform miracles, yet He said He would tell them to depart from Him that He never knew them and that they were evildoers. God knows whose hearts are completely sold out to Him. This is no time to be playing games. We cannot be lukewarm (Revelation 3:15). It is time to daily submerse ourselves in the reading of God’s word, to follow Him wholeheartedly and to have a steadfast relationship with Him in prayer and communion.
Father God,
We ask that You flood us with Your holiness. Erase all that is bad in us. We repent for anything we may have conformed to that is not in Your will for us to think, say, do or follow. Help us to be strong in Your word. May we daily find time to spend with You. We want to honor You in everything. Help us to wisely, lovingly and thoughtfully, yet also boldly stand in Your truths. May we spot the false teachers quickly. The thing that matters to us, when our race on earth is finished, is hearing You say, “Well done, My child, welcome home.” Oh, for that blessed day when all the trials on this earth will be over and we will see Jesus! What a wonderful day that will be. Help us to follow after peace and holiness (Hebrews 12:14). In Jesus’name we pray. Amen.

Thank you BT. I must speak the truth from the word. Not hiding anything when God lays it on my heart. Have a good night. God bless.
