How encouraging for us! The most amazing God of the universe knows us. He knows our names, the amount of hair on our heads (Matthew 10:30-31) and our thoughts. (Psalm 94:11) Not only does He know our name, but like the above song says; He calls us chosen, free, forgiven, wanted, child of the King, His forever, held and treasured, we are loved. (Ephesians 1:4-5, 2:8-9, Galatians 5:1, 1 Thessalonians 5:5, Psalm 9:7-12, 1 Peter 2:9-10 & 1 John 4:7)
Father God,
We love You. We come before You thanking and praising You for all that You are and everything that You have done, will do and are doing in our lives. We worship You and You alone. I love the song Way maker. I agree with the lyrics that You are our Way maker, Miracle worker, Promise keeper and Light in the darkness. You are our God. The One and only true God. We trust, believe and have all of our hope in You. You are mighty. (Psalm 95:3-7) Your name is a strong tower. (Proverbs 18:10) We are saved by You. Thank You so much for loving us and for calling us Your children. We hide nothing from You. We want to be honest with You and honest with ourselves. We, willingly, turn away from anything that is not pleasing to You. We repent and ask You to forgive us, for sins that we know about and those that are unknown. Continue molding us into Your image. (2 Corinthians 3:18) We want others to see Your great love when we look at them, and by our actions, words and deeds. Please, help us to align our will with Your will. May we continue to seek Your kingdom to come and Your will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us the strength, courage and perseverance that we need to accomplish Your blessed will for our lives. We will give You all the praise for we ask everything in Jesus’ name. Amen.
