Ambassadors For Christ

2 Corinthians 5:20-21 NKJV Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. 21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

As Ambassadors for Christ we (His children) represent and proclaim what Jesus teaches and represents in the Bible.

  • We are Ambassadors of His Love so we represent and proclaim His love.
  • We are Ambassadors of His mercy so we represent and proclaim His mercy.
  • We are Ambassadors of His peace so we represent and proclaim His peace.
  • We are Ambassadors of His joy so we represent and proclaim His joy.
  • We are Ambassadors of His grace so we represent and proclaim His grace.
  • We are Ambassadors of His patience so we represent and proclaim His patience.
  • We are Ambassadors of His goodness so we represent and proclaim His goodness.
  • We are Ambassadors of His gentleness so we represent and proclaim His gentleness.
  • We are Ambassadors of His faith so we represent and proclaim His faith.

In the face of any storm, trial, testing or tribulation we show Christ’s love by representing Him in a faithful manner. He will give us the strength that we need to overcome any fleshly desire to retaliate, retribute, reciprocate or bring revenge. There is no time to walk in the flesh and fulfil its desires. We must be walking with the Lord and be full of His Spirit to produce fruit. God is all about redeeming the lost. We must deny ourselves and follow Him wholeheartedly.

Matthew 3:8 AMP So produce fruit that is consistent with repentance [demonstrating new behavior that proves a change of heart, and a conscious decision to turn away from sin]

Father God,

We pray today for an anointing of Your Spirit to be felt upon us and that we would represent You in our lives. When we are faced with hatred we ask for Your love to shine forth through us. When we are faced with cruelty we ask for Your mercy to flow through us. When we are faced with conflict we ask that Your peace would calm any situation. When we are faced with trials or tribulations we ask for Your joy to permeate through us. When we are faced with crudeness we ask that Your grace would pour out of our hearts like a river. When we are faced with anxiousness may we radiate Your patience. When we are faced with meanness may we show, in truth, Your goodness. When we are faced with anger or revenge may we represent Your gentleness. When we are faced with a distrust in You or Your word by others may we shine forth Your faith. We need You. We need a divine outpouring to be the sons and the daughters of Yours that we need to be. We can accomplish everything that You want us to do with, by and through Your power. We submit to You and Your Spirit. Have Your way in our lives. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
