A Call to Praise

Praise the Lord!
Praise God in his sanctuary;
    praise him in his mighty heaven!
Praise him for his mighty works;
    praise his unequaled greatness!
Praise him with a blast of the ram’s horn;
    praise him with the lyre and harp!
Praise him with the tambourine and dancing;
    praise him with strings and flutes!
Praise him with a clash of cymbals;
    praise him with loud clanging cymbals.
Let everything that breathes sing praises to the Lord!
Praise the Lord!

Psalm 150:1-6 NLT
Pray with me please.

Father God,
We come before You today with hearts full of gratitude for all that You have done. Who can say enough of all the good that You have bestowed upon creation? Words fail us to express the magnitude of which You are. We lift our song of praise to You for all that You have done. We lift our hearts to You. We sing along with the above song Your praises. Thank You for seeing our heart and accepting our praise. You are everything to us. You have given us life and with it a multitude of blessings. How can we say enough how thankful that we are to have You as our Father? It is enough to know that You see our heart (1 Samuel 16:7). You know that we love You. We cry out holy, holy, holy Lord God Almighty. Worthy are You of all praise. We worship You in the beauty of Your holiness. We are surrounded and filled with such a great love from You. Oh, how we praise You, Lord. If I could sing, I would sing You the most melodious song. If I could play an instrument, I would play it before You with all of my heart. What I do have is a heart full of gratitude for all that You have done. I will tell others of Your greatness and I will go where You lead me. Your praise will ever be on my lips. With all of my heart, I surrender to You, my Father, my God, my Savior, my Strength, my Joy, my Friend, my Protector, my Provider, my All-in-all. Hallelujah! All honor and glory we give to our God who reigns forever and ever (Psalm 9:7-12), the One who was and is and is to come-the Almighty One (Revelation 1:8), the Everlasting God (Psalm 90:2), our Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6). All hail King Jesus (Matthew 28:9). We worship You in spirit and in truth (John 4:24). In the precious name of Jesus we always pray (John 14:13). Amen.
